In the massive world of HSR, a Freshly Baked Cake is a tasty treat dropped by researchers deemed unfortunate. In the Seclusion Zone, while playing the “It all started with a man and a dog” mission, you play as a peppy, and below the stairs, to your left, there is an interaction point “Ruan Mei’s gourmand creation”. 

To find cosmic fried rice and reach the debate with the butler, you have to submit a Freshly Baked Cake. But, how do you find this item? Below, we have all the details on where to find this Freshly Baked Cake and how to use it inside the game.

Where to find the Freshly Baked Cake in Honkai Star Rail?

After you interact with Ruan Mei’s Gourmand Creation, you have to take the stairs up, and between the two computer screens on the floor, you will find an interaction point. 

Check the usage logs and you will get the External Communication item. On the opposite side of the screens to your left, there is another interaction point. Interacting here will allow you to get the Freshly Baked Bread.

How to use Freshly Baked Bread in Honkai Star Rail?

Take the stairs below, and on your left, you will find an interaction point “Ruan Mei’s Gourmand Creation”. Click on the Freshly Baked Cake, and submit the item.

On the opposite side of the interaction point, you will find another interaction point. You will get the Cosmic Fried Rice as a reward.

You will get back to the character, and move onwards towards the screens, and on your right, there is the butler. Interact with him, and proceed. This will start the debate with the butler.
